Citronella is commercially used in a number of insect repellents, and that is how most people are familiar with it. However, the oil also has antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties as well.

Citronella has been traditionally used to:

  • Mask or neutralize unpleasant body odors
  • Repel insects
  • Expel intestinal worms
