Vetiver is a thick, dark amber essential oil that may stimulate the nerves, circulation and the immune system. It has an earthy, lemony aroma that some find romantic. Though it can stimulate several body systems, it is generally considered calming and soothing to the conscious mind.

Vetiver has been traditionally used to:
